SolarKhoj is an independent platform and is not affiliated with or operated by MNRE, PM Surya Ghar, a DISCOM or any government department unless explicitly stated.

Information can change

Solar prices, scheme rules, utility processes and installer practices change. SolarKhoj aims to explain the information available at review time, but you should confirm current requirements before making a decision.

Calculator estimates

A calculator result is an indicative starting estimate, not a final technical design, installation quotation, generation promise or savings promise. Numeric subsidy, net cost, savings, payback, EMI and long-term savings remain withheld where the required inputs or sources are not published.

Subsidy eligibility

SolarKhoj can help explain what to ask. The relevant government or utility authority determines eligibility, documentation and approval. Use official sources for the current process.

Installer and vendor information

A checklist can help you ask for clearer equipment, scope, warranty and payment information. It cannot guarantee a vendor's future workmanship, service quality, pricing or project outcome.
